Whether you consider yourself curious or an activist we'd love to have you attend. Race, religion, age, gender, do not matter. Everyone who is unhappy with this administration - national and local - are invited.
If you're old hat at this you know what to do. Bring a sign, be ready to sing, chant, meet new friends and hear from a couple engaging speakers. We're in a Constitutional crisis; the administration is breaking laws or creating illegal ones every day. They're dismantling some of our most crucial institutions such as the Department of Education, Health and Human Services, raising our prices with illegal tarriffs, creating an executive office where favor is gained by writing checks, illegally kidnapping and imprisoning people (500+ US citizens), alienating us from our most crucial neighbors and allies, and the United Nations Human Rights Council has determined the attacks on Iran likely violated human rights. Never has there been such corruption at the highest levels of government. We are descending into those we fought against in two World Wars.
Tennessee's supermajority does not listen to their constituents. The majority of us oppose redistricting, vouchers, grocery taxes, decimating women's healthcare, working with the thugs called ICE, high property taxes, a tunnel that didn't have appropriate geological studies, and now a toll road clouded in shady dealings.
No Kings has been the most attended peaceful national protest movement in the history of the United States. People are fed up. On Saturday October 17 come out and be with others who are doing something about it.
Remember, your party doesn't matter - your family and your country do. It's time to change course and vote for those who are looking out for you and believe in our Constitution.
