    Northern Kentucky is raising a glass to summer at the first annual NKY BierFest, sponsored by Meet NKY. The NKY BierFest, being held in Ft. Mitchell on August 16, promises to be a lively celebration with local craft beer, live music, food vendors, and community spirit. This inaugural event will be held at DCCH Center Grounds, and benefits DCCH’s mission to support local families. The NKY BierFest will bring together the best of Kentucky’s thriving craft beer scene. Attendees can look forward to beer tastings from Alexandria Brewing Company, Barleycorn’s Brewhouse, Braxton Brewing Company, Darkness Brewing Company, Fabled Brew Works, Maiden City Brewing Company, West Sixth Covington Haus, Wooden Cask Brewing Company, and more to be announced. There will be something on tap for every palate: traditional styles, hoppy IPAs, fruited beers, and rich stouts. Food and nonalcoholic drink vendors will include: Bender’s Pub Grub, EJ’s Southern Fixins, Gobblin’ Goblin, Wendigo Tea Company, and more. Live music will fill the air, featuring performances from Donkey Shades (three piece acoustic/electric cover band), Dreaded Mids (rock band influenced by classic rock, punk, and blues), and Chris from Space (psych rock-esque music). NKY BierFest Details: Date: Saturday August 16, 2025 Time: 4pm-8pm (VIP ticket entry at 3pm) Location: DCCH Center Grounds on Orphanage Road in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky Tickets: Available at NKYBierFest.com. Ticket options include General Admission, VIP Admission (with early entry), and Designated Driver. A portion of the proceeds will benefit DCCH Center for Children and Families, a nonprofit serving children and families in Northern Kentucky, as well as the Kentucky Guild of Brewers, an organization dedicated to promoting Kentucky’s craft beer industry. With some of the best craft beer and live music that Kentucky has to offer, this is a must-attend event in Northern Kentucky this summer.
