Nights in Northwood: Latin Groove Project
Award-winning percussionist Joe Collado was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and is of Puerto Rican descent. As a recording artist, he has consistently contributed his original musical style—Latin Groove—shaped by his NYC life experiences and musical upbringing. Joe was also awarded the Best Percussionist in Miami in 2009, according to Miami New Times, just before releasing his debut CD, “Solo Joe.” Since then, he has released five more successful CDs featuring his Latin groove style, along with the growth of his personal group, Latin Groove Project.
