Night of the Dead with Uncle Jawns Band
Philly is keeping the Dead’s spirit alive. This Halloween, Uncle Jawns Band will be covering the iconic Grateful Dead live, and deadheads will not want to miss out. Leading guitarist Patrick Crowling saw his first Dead Show in 1989, and was inspired by the idea of group improvisation, both as a vehicle for self-expression, and as a way for the band and audience to communicate with one another. Patrick and his fellow Jawn bandmates have since brought Philadelphia the authentic sound of The Dead while bringing fresh improvisational elements and creative interplay.
