New York State Ice Wine & Culinary Festival
The 2025 New York Ice Wine & Culinary Festival returns on Saturday, February 15, at Casa Larga Vineyards in Fairport, NY, celebrating the rare and exquisite art of traditional Ice Wine production. This highly anticipated annual event showcases award-winning Ice Wines crafted in New York State, one of the few regions in the world capable of producing this specialty wine using the traditional German eiswein method. Guests will have the opportunity to experience exclusive tastings, gourmet cuisine, live entertainment, and immersive winery experiences.
Festival Highlights:
Ice Wine Tastings – Sample authentic Ice Wines from New York’s premier wineries, including Casa Larga Vineyards, Hunt Country, Sheldrake Point, Weis Vineyards, and Schulze Vineyards.
Ice Wine-Inspired Cuisine – Savor gourmet small plates infused with Ice Wine, prepared by Casa Larga’s Bella Vista Chef Scott DeFrees, featuring unique dishes such as Tuscan White Bean Soup with Ice Wine-infused kale, Chopped Salad with Ice Wine vinaigrette, Smoked Pork Crostini with Ice Wine relish, and a Macaroon Duo dessert.
Live Entertainment – Enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the festival.
Spirit & Cider Tastings – Sample premium spirits from Black Button, 1836, and Iron Smoke Distilleries, as well as local ciders from Blue Barn Cidery.
Winery Tours – Explore Casa Larga’s vineyard and winery, learning about the intricate Ice Wine production process.
Love Shack Ice Lounge – Visit the cozy Ice Lounge to try the official festival cocktail, "Glacier Glow", with a mocktail option, "Pink Sunset".
Scenic Wagon Rides – Take a picturesque wagon ride through the vineyard (weather permitting).
Shopping & Local Vendors – Discover handcrafted jewelry, maple syrups, candles, and more from vendors like Romanoff Jewelry, Shepard Honey and Maple, and Sand and Sea by Jules.
Tickets & Event Details:
Tickets are $80 per person or $150 for two, including tastings, food samples, and all festival activities. To provide an optimal experience, ticketed entry times are available at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.CasaLarga.com or in person at the Casa Larga Wine Shop.
