New Moon Roller Disco
Skating will take place at the basketball courts near the zoo.
Come out and skate with your friends to the sounds of Frankie Rhymin' alongside New Moon's resident DJs.
This year, we will also be offering a free kids skate lesson to kick off the event, starting promptly at 3pm. We have 15 spots and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. We'll also have an adult skate lesson starting at 3:30pm. Register by DM-ing @newmoondanceparty on Instagram or Facebook!
And once again, the Southcoast Shipwreckers and Chakira Gonsalves will be providing access to their skate library, stocked with loaner skates for people to use free of charge! Stock of various sizes of skates is limited, however, so first come, first served!
Otherwise, BYO quad or inline skates and get ready to boogie!
This is a skate at your own risk event. For insurance reasons, ALL participants will be required to sign a liability waiver in order to skate. Please visit the check-in tent upon arrival to sign your waiver. Those under 18 years of age will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian who can sign on their behalf.
Also, we can only allow roller skaters and inline skaters; no bikes, skate boards etc.
