New Milford Arts Festival
The picturesque town of New Milford, CT is gearing up for a day of artistic celebration and community spirit at the New Milford Arts Festival, June 29th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This vibrant festival is free to the public and promises a day filled with creativity, entertainment, and fun for all ages.
Local and regional artists will showcase their talents. Painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and more will be on display and available for purchase. In addition, a lineup of dancers, performers, and musicians will also take the stage near New Milford’s Historical Bandstand.
Beginning at 10:30 AM, Emily Kent of the acclaimed dance theater organization, Pilobolus, will offer an interactive family movement program. Following at 11:30 will be performances by Studio D dancers and Theater Works Kids!
Closing the day of festivities, Bob Stump Blue Grass Band will perform, offering “a hybrid of Americana sounds that blends Bluegrass, blues, country, rock and jazz.”
