Kim attended Parsons School of Design where she received classical drawing and painting training and earned a BFA in Illustration. Embarking on a 25-year career in textile design and working in NY and SF, Kim created many floral designs. Her current body of oil and gouache paintings are focused on the beauty of everyday moments, drawing the viewer’s attention to the things they might walk by without noticing.
