NBM Alumni Jam Reunites National Blues Museum Performers for One Night

ST. LOUIS, MO — The spirit and legacy of the National Blues Museum will return to the stage on Saturday, June 6th as musicians from the museum’s celebrated 2016–2026 performance era reunite for the NBM Alumni Jam at The Key STL, presented by BluesForever.org.
The event brings together an extraordinary lineup of regional and national blues talent for a one-night-only showcase celebrating the music, musicians, and community that helped define a decade of live blues performances in St. Louis.

Created in the wake of the National Blues Museum’s closing, the NBM Alumni Jam represents the enduring network of musicians and supporters who continue carrying the blues tradition forward through live performance and community engagement.
The event is produced by BluesForever.org, whose mission is:
“To preserve the cultural heritage of the Blues, not by placing it behind glass, but by keeping it on stages, in jam sessions, and in the hands of musicians both young and old.”
Blues Forever was founded by longtime blues advocates including National Blues Museum co-founder and Dave Beardsley, founder of STLBlues.net - a recipient of the prestigious “Keeping The Blues Alive” award – along with NBM Alumni guitarist and Bluetron Amplifiers founder Dave Smith, who brings a Harvard Business School MBA along with decades of executive leadership experience to the project. Together, they continue building opportunities for established and emerging musicians to keep blues culture alive and evolving.
As blues legend Willie Dixon famously said:
“The Blues are the roots, and the other musics are the fruits.”
