Natural Dye Workshop with Rebecca Kelly
Join artist Rebecca Kelly and Lindsay Warren (Coyote Ridge Homestead) for a natural dye workshop. In this workshop you will work with natural plant materials to create two original and naturally dyed silk scarfves/handkerchiefs. Bring a friend and get ready to have fun!
Rebecca Kelly is a textile and book artist, story-teller, and seasoned educator, who turns to the natural word for inspiration and raw materials for her works. She resides in Upper Black Eddy, PA and wors as a teaching artist at Lehigh University Art Galleries, Young Audiences of NJ and PA and The Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA.
Note: This special workshop is taking place as part of Frenchtown's "Eco Week" and will be hosted at Frenchtown Home & Hardware.
