Native Gardening 101: Outstanding Native Shrubs for Nebraska Landscapes with Bob Henrickson
Native shrubs are very important in the natural environment—providing shelter and food for a variety of animals and birds. As a design element, shrubs provide medium height in a garden and help blend the differences between shade trees, herbaceous plants and grass lawns. Shrubs can be used to define boundaries, create paths and provide seclusion without the stark presence of a fence or wall. At this event, attendees will hear from Bob Henrickson about how to incorporate these versatile shrubs into their landscape.
