National Hire a Veteran Day Job Workshop with Republic Services
July 25th is National Hire a Veteran Day. Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is committed to giving back to veterans and the active military in the community. That’s why this year, the company will be hosting a community workshop event at the Republic Services facility in Detroit to help prepare transitioning military and local veterans for entering the workforce.
Veterans, active miliary and transitioning military in attendance will have the opportunity to:
-Engage in resume workshops to learn how to best present their relevant skillsets
-Participate in on-site interviews as desired, for current and future job openings
-Experience on-site tours of Republic Service’s facilities and operations
