Narrow River Turnaround Swim
This is the 17th Narrow River Turnaround Swim, a one mile open-water swim in one of Rhode Island's most scenic waterways. Enter the water at the URI Boathouse, swim 1/2 mile down the River, turn around and swim back. A timed swim, fastest time in 2023 was 21:12 (men's non-wetsuit) and 24:07 (women's non-wetsuit). Youngest finisher 11 years old, oldest swimmer age 77. This fun swim allows swimmers one hour to complete the swim.
Admission $40, ($45 after June 17). Support NRPA by paying $30 extra and receive one year membership to NRPA, and your name on t-shirt. T-shirt size and your name on t-shirt not guaranteed if payment received after May 26.
