NAMI Atlantic Cape May is pleased to announce our NEW educational program for parents of children and adolescents, ages up to 21, with symptoms of mental illness. NAMI Basics covers treatment options; managing crisis situations; problem solving, and communicating effectively; taking care of yourself and handling your stress in a positive way; advocating for your child's rights in school and in health care settings; understanding the challenges and impact on the entire family; and developing confidence and stamina to support your child with compassion.
The class is a 6 week commitment by ZOOM every Thursday, starting February 8th through March 14th, 6:30-9:00 pm. This is a free educational program. Registration is open now! Space is limited.
