NAMI Atlantic Cape May Family to Family Educational Program
NAMI Atlantic Cape May to Offer Free Family-to-Family Education Program Beginning September 8
Atlantic & Cape May Counties, NJ — NAMI Atlantic Cape May is now accepting registrations for its nationally recognized Family-to-Family education program, a free course designed for family members, partners, and friends of adults living with mental health conditions.
The eight-week program will be held every Tuesday evening from September 8 through October 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., via Zoom, making it convenient for participants throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties to attend from home.
Family-to-Family is taught by trained volunteers who have firsthand experience supporting a loved one with a mental health condition. Participants will gain practical knowledge about mental health conditions and treatment options, develop effective communication and problem-solving skills, learn strategies for self-care, and connect with others who understand the challenges of supporting a loved one.
The program is offered free of charge as part of NAMI's mission to provide education, support, and hope to families affected by mental illness.
Space is limited, and registration closes on Thursday, September 3. Early registration is encouraged.
