Our program begins with Buffalo guitarist Ricardo Saeb as soloist in Isaac Albéniz’ rousing "Asturias". Next, soprano Colleen Marcello sings selections from Manuel de Falla’s "Canciones Populares Españolas", followed by the Camerata’s WNY premiere performance of the "Fuga con Pajarillo" by Aldemaro Romero.
After intermission, we present Astor Piazzolla’s "Tanguedia III", followed by the WNY premieres of Osvaldo Golijov’s passionate "How Slow the Wind" and "Herencia for Strings" by Andrea Casarrubios.
