Music Mondays: Elijah Rock
Long-dedicated to upholding and aligning himself with the first-class carriage and aesthetic of timeless entertainment, Cleveland born Elijah Rock is a Pop Traditional recording artist and Entertainer of The Great American Songbook! Rock is the Winner of the NAACP Theater Award Winner and Ovation Award Nominee. “Gershwin For My Soul” was Rock's first studio album followed by his sophomore LP, “Matters of The Heart.” Rock recently released a Western Swing EP produced by the legendary Hall of Fame Songwriter/Producer Steve Dorff entitled, “Swoon.” Rock is currently an Atlantic Fellow at the Global Brain Health Institute at the University of California, San Francisco. His work focuses how jazz and The American Songbook can drive dementia awareness and research in underserved communities in the US and globally. He is excited to make his debut at Club Fugazi in San Francisco!
