Music Comes Alive at the MMC Scholarship Winners Concert on May 3
Marin Music Chest presents its annual "Scholarship Winners Concert" at 4:00 p.m. Saturday - May 3, 2025, featuring solo performances by 12 young classical musicians honored with 2025 Marin Music Chest Scholarship awards.
The free concert is open to the public and takes place at First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo, 72 Kensington Road, San Anselmo CA 94960. The concert showcases musical performances by 2025 Marin Music Chest scholarship award winners: Arya Dev (violin) of San Rafael; Sungju (Ted) Ham (piano) of Kentfield; Sydney Li-Jenkins (violin) of Sausalito; Dheyan Lim (violin) of Mill Valley; Isabella Lo (piano) of Kentfield; Priscilla Lu (piano) of Corte Madera; James Micheltorena (piano) of Sausalito; Kai Sackett (piano) and Xei Sackett (piano) of Corte Madera; Audrey Swope (violin) of Sausalito; Everly Witzel (piano) of San Rafael; and Owen Xu (piano) of San Rafael.
Marin Music Chest is a private, non-profit organization staffed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors with an extensive musical background and an Artistic Council with professional backgrounds in music. Marin Music Chest has been dedicated to fostering a greater interest and appreciation of classical music in Marin since 1933 and has supported young classical musicians living in Marin County with annual scholarship awards and performance opportunities.
