Providence Children’s Museum – 100 South Street, Providence
Beat the heat and check out Water Ways, where children can send boats and balls spiraling and twisting through vortexes, “paint” watery designs on a large slate wall, build mazes and dam water cascading downstream with blocks and sandbags and more!
RISD Museum – 224 Benefit Street, Providence
Brighten Up! Contemporary Enamels launched in June. This presentation combines objects from the collection with recent acquisitions, including those generously given by the Enamel Arts Foundation, which serves to educate, document, and promote a greater awareness of the art form of enamelwork. Together, these works demonstrate the many ways artists enliven metal through bold and bright enameling techniques.
International Tennis Hall of Fame – 194 Bellevue Avenue, Newport
Visit the Arthur Ashe VR Experience! The Ashe '68 VR experience travels back to the year 1968 and immerses visitors in the tennis champion's moment as he becomes the first Black man to win the US Open, and uses his newfound celebrity to lift his voice against injustice.
