MUSED: Solo Exhibition by Cassidy Boyuk (Opening Night)
From March 2 through March 31, The Mansion 731 will present an emerging artist exhibition titled “MUSED”, featuring work by classically trained oil painter and local artist Cassidy Boyuk. MUSED is a series of portraits that combine the Baroque elements and techniques of Boyuk’s classical training with modern subjects.
Using the opulent patterns, luxurious materials, and dignified poses of Edwardian and Victorian portraiture, Boyuk’s series captures the cultural identity and self-expression of the people of Gen Z. MUSED will be The Mansions first show of 2024.The opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 731 East Broad Street, The Mansion 731, a half-mile from Columbus Museum of Art. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
