In this clever comedic mystery, a group of mystery authors gathers for a special meeting at a small-town library, each eager to outshine the others with their latest work. But when egos clash and tempers flare, fiction turns frighteningly real — someone is murdered! Suddenly, the writers find themselves caught in the middle of a crime scene that feels ripped from the pages of their own novels.
As suspicions mount, alliances shift, and secrets spill, the remaining authors must put their mystery-solving skills to the test to catch the killer before the story ends in another deadly chapter. With witty dialogue, colorful characters, and twists that keep both the audience and the “detectives” guessing, Murder by the Book is a fast-paced, laugh-filled whodunit perfect for theaters looking for a crowd-pleasing blend of comedy and suspense.
