Mozart in the Jungle: The Piano Alone

Getzville, NY — June 14, 2025 On Saturday, June 14 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM EDT, Woom Talent Center presents Mozart in the Jungle: The Piano Alone—a daring and poetic theatrical production built entirely around one instrument, one performer at a time, and one shared experience. Hosted at 850 Dodge Rd, Getzville, NY, this immersive staging invites audiences into a world of silence, vulnerability, and presence which will allow you to reflect about the meaning of sounds. There are no bios. No bows. No introductions. Only a piano, a performer, and the willingness to offer something real- not a fake performative act of technical abilities. ABOUT THE SHOW Ideated and directed by Dr. Antonella Di Giulio, Mozart in the Jungle: The Piano Alone is a choreographed performance ritual where musicians all ages take the stage one by one. Each performer steps into the light, connects with the piano, and shares their moment—without fanfare, without comparison, and without needing to explain. Some speak before they play. Some don’t. Some falter. Some soar. All are honest. “One person. One piano. No perfection—just presence.” — Opening line of the show Throughout the evening, narration and anonymous audience reflections are woven between performances. Silence is not a pause, but a character. The evening closes with all performers surrounding the piano in a final gesture of collective presence. 📍 EVENT DETAILS Date: Saturday, June 14, 2025 Time: 6:00–7:30 PM EDT Location: 850 Dodge Rd, Getzville, NY 14068 Tickets: Eventbrite Link ✨ ABOUT THE DIRECTOR Dr. Antonella Di Giulio is an entrepreneur, pianist, theorist, educator, and creative director known for transforming music-making into emotionally resonant and meaningful experiences.
