Moving Day Nashville - Parkinson's Community Event
The in-person event is one of 18 community events taking place across the U.S. this fall. Funds raised through Moving Day will support cutting-edge research, care and education programs to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their families.
Moving Day Nashville is a celebration of movement and exercise—proven to help manage PD symptoms. At Moving Day Nashville, community members will
participate in exercise demonstrations, a we move ceremony, a one-mile walk and connect with sponsors, friends, and family to raise awareness of Parkinson’s
Disease.
Since 2011, Moving Day events across have raised more than $40 million supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation mission to make life better for people with PD.
