Moving Day Atlanta, a Walk for Parkinson's
The Parkinson’s Foundation will host its annual Moving Day Atlanta, a walk for Parkinson’s, on October 26 at Kennesaw State University, Marietta Campus. The in-person event is one of many community events taking place across the country this year. Funds raised through Moving Day will support cutting-edge research, care and education programs to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their families.
Moving Day Atlanta is a celebration of movement and exercise—proven to help manage PD symptoms. At Moving Day Atlanta, community members will participate in exercise demonstrations and walk their choice of 1 mile or 5K.
Since 2011, Moving Day events across the country have raised more than $45 million supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation mission to make life better for people with PD.
