Mort Skirboll Jewish Film Festival Event – Resistance: They Fought Back
The Mort Skirboll Jewish Film Festival is a highlight of the Cultural Arts Program season. Celebrate Jewish culture and join us for three stand-alone films each month, leading up to our 5-day film festival in March, where we will welcome you to The ORA, Sarasota's premier event venue.
“Resistance: They Fought Back” travels to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Israel, and the U.S. to illuminate the forgotten, and largely unknown, stories of Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. Prior to the film, there will be a wine and small bite reception. A Q&A will follow the film.
