Morris County Historical Society 2024 Annual Meeting
Join MCHS to elect the 2025 Board of Trustees, celebrate recent accomplishments, and learn about upcoming events and groundbreaking initiatives. Dr. Robert Fredericks, 45-year member, past board president (1982-1986), and celebrated local historian will present his research on one of the area’s most storied social clubs. The author of “The Flame Fighters of Morristown” and an ardent and generous supporter of MCHS, Dr. Fredericks builds his most recent work on the legacy of the Rev. James Lindsley, a charter member of MCHS. Also, F.M. Kirby Curator of Collections Anne Motto will offer a special preview of MCHS upcoming exhibit: Fermenting a Communal Spirit: Morris County Taverns, Speakeasies, & Social Clubs. This event is free.
