FUEL FOR SCHOOL
Saturday, August 19 - 10am to 12pm
Let’s work together to support our children in both body and mind by ensuring all families have access to healthy food in and after school. Millions of families in the US struggle to access nutritious food, and most affected are children. To help address this issue, Moorestown Mall is focusing our efforts on FUEL FOR SCHOOL and promoting nutrition for children and families at our Back-to-School event.
Join us in HomeSense Court for a fun-filled morning where “class” is in session with Mr. Mario and Ms. Toadstool*.
10:00am MUSIC – Get groovin’ with DJ Terry
GYM – Fun & games
10:30am SCIENCE – Experiments and entertainment with Ridiculous Nicholas**
11:00am HOME EC – Get crafty and hand-sew your own wallet
11:30am MATH – Mathematics-based mall-wide scavenger hunt
ART – Can you color in the lines?
12:00pm LUNCH PERIOD - In partnership with The Salvation Army, our friends from The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center are coming over to help make this mission a success. Stop by their table to make a monetary or food donation! To thank you for your generosity, anyone who donates can enter for a chance to win a special giveaway.
Plus, AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS temporary tattoos.
Special character appearances by Mario and Princess Peach*.
