10/25/2025 12:00 PM 10/25/2025 03:00 PM America/Atikokan Monsters on Mainstreet The Brookfield Historical Society and Chamber of Commerce invite you to their annual Monster on Mainstreet trick-or-treating and costume contest event on Saturday, Oct. 25 from noon to 3 p.m. Trick-or-treat at businesses on Broadway Avenue and the Grand/Prairie District from noon to 2:30 p.m. and then head over to the historic Grossdale Station 8820 1/2 Brookfield Ave., where free pumpkins, taffy apples and cider will be given to the first 500 child trick-or-treaters. The event caps off with a costume contest (there are several age groups) for kids and adults. NEW THIS YEAR: There will be a Best Dressed Pet category for this year's costume contest.
