Monday Series Concert at Elizabethtown College
Please join Music Department faculty member Justin Badgerow and retired Music Department faculty member Debra Ronning on Monday, February 27 in Leffler Chapel and Performance Center at 7:30 p.m. as they perform piano four hands repertoire including the Russian composer Nikolai Kapustin. The “Sinfonietta, Op. 49” is a wonderful example of his style of classical jazz fusion. “Silent Woods” by Antonin Dvořák is a lyrical character piece written for this medium. Solo repertoire will include works by Chopin, Gershwin and Mompou. The Ravel “La Valse” will conclude the program. Free and open to the public.
