Monday Night Jazz at the Cabaret with Paul Gormley and Friends
Monday Night Jazz at the Cabaret presents an exciting evening of jazz with top entertainment in an intimate cabaret setting in downtown Sarasota at the John C. Court Cabaret at FST. On November 20 we feature the Paul Gormley Quartet. Bassist Paul Gormley is a native of Southern California, now residing in Sarasota Florida. He is a second generation bassist. He has 4 CD’s in current release. He has performed or recorded with a wide variety of artists including singers Joe Williams, Anita O’Day, The HiLo’s, Herb Jeffries, Michael Feinstein, Cab Callaway, Vic Damone, Bobby Darin, Barbara Cook and a number of well known big bands and instrumentalists including Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis, Blue Mitchell, Vido Musso, Dick Hyman, Jimmy Rowles.
