01/19/2026 03:00 PM 01/19/2026 06:00 PM America/Anguilla MLK Day of Service The NAACP SouthDade Branch, are working with the Miami-Dade County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program to host a MLK DAY OF SERVICE Event in Florida City, Fl on January 19, 2026. The Black Forest Memorial in Florida City is about 90 trees planted to honor Black lives lost during COVID-19. These are young trees that need our care for a few years. Registration is required. See the registration link on the flyer. Anyone can volunteer. We often have families attend. Wear your hat, sunshades, long sleeves, and work shoes.
