Missouri Primary Election Ballot Initiative Townhall
There are four constitutional amendments on the August 4th Missouri Primary ballot. While there are well funded campaigns both for and against Amendments 4 and 5, it's difficult to understand what those amendments really do, or why they are even on the ballot this year. Amendments 1 and 2 don't have highly funded campaigns behind or against them, but they are equally important to understand. At our townhall on Monday, attendees will hear from current and former elected officials and community leaders on each of the four August 4th constitutional amendments. Attendees can ask questions of each of the speakers, and Amendment 5 will feature a moderated debate where the background and it's potential impacts will be discussed in detail. The event is free and open to the public.
