Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, California (https://www.mission-valley.com), invites families to put on their costumes and join the center for its spooktacular centerwide Trick-or-Treating event. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Halloween, children can stop by participating retailers to collect candy and treats, while supplies last. Stores taking part will display a decal on their windows for easy identification. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes (no costumes with weapons allowed). As a special bonus, anyone who donates a coat on Halloween at the center’s Coat Donation Kiosk (located outside Footlocker and Tilly’s) will receive a free bag filled with festive Halloween toys, a sweet treat from Mitri’s Delights, and for the first 100 donors, two free tickets to see “Newsies” at Trinity Theatre Company. Additionally, major league soccer team San Diego FC (SDFC) will provide coat donors with a gift from Eighteen Threads. While visiting the center, families are also invited to explore the newly relocated Mission Valley Pumpkin Station, featuring a pumpkin patch, carnival rides, giant slides, jumpers, and a petting zoo. The Trick-or-Treating event is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required to attend. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/4gTr0gK.
