San Francisco’s historic Mint Plaza comes alive this summer with MINTED SF — a new, free, all-ages, open-air event series that transforms downtown into a cultural commons filled with music, movement, and community joy. Every Friday from July 4 through September 19, 2025, MINTED SF invites locals and visitors alike to dance, dine, and celebrate the Bay Area’s rich creative spirit.
At its core, MINTED SF is a love letter to San Francisco—spotlighting the Bay’s most dynamic DJ collectives, cultural curators, and culinary voices. Guests will experience weekly lineups curated across genres like house, soul, reggaeton, hip-hop, disco, and global bass, reflecting the inclusive and intersectional spirit of the Bay.
The series is more than entertainment—it’s a citywide collaboration between community organizers, nonprofit leaders, small businesses, and the City of San Francisco. Designed to reinvigorate downtown foot traffic, support local restaurants, and activate public space with intention, MINTED SF blends grassroots curation with public investment to model what equitable cultural infrastructure can look like.
RSVPs are encouraged at http://bit.ly/3HHzREO for entry perks, including a community punch card offering rewards for checking in and dining locally each week.

MINTED SF is a joyful example of how public funding can meet grassroots creativity to bring tangible vibrancy to urban spaces. As San Francisco works to reimagine its downtown future, this event series models what’s possible when culture, community, and public policy align.
Beyond the beats and bites, MINTED SF celebrates Mint Plaza’s Filipino cultural roots as part of the SOMA Pilipinas Cultural Heritage District—uplifting homegrown talent while giving restaurants, small businesses, and residents a reason to reconnect every week.
