The Minnesota Ice Festival, formerly known as the Minnesota Ice Maze, will once again be taking over Viking Lakes in Eagan this year. The maze will be set up on the field at TCO Stadium and be bigger than ever!
The team at Minnesota Ice is working on building the world’s biggest ice maze, approximately 18,000 square feet, beating the previous record by several thousand square feet. This year’s Minnesota Ice Festival will include new activities as well: food trucks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ice games, fire pits, an ice carving competition, a graffiti wall to sign, a multi-lane ice slide, ice skating and more. It’s also easier than ever to get in this year: Attendees can buy a ticket for a day and come anytime during operating hours. Ticket prices are also reduced from last year.
The event kicks off at Viking Lakes on January 5 and runs through mid-February, weather permitting.

Thursdays and Fridays 4–10 p.m.
Saturdays 11 a.m. —10 p.m.
Sundays 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Ages 0-4: Free
Ages 5-15: $9.99
Ages 16+: $19.99
Military members can get a discount by using the code “ThankYou24” at checkout.
Other:
Only clear bags are allowed in the event.
Parking is free in the parking ramp by the Vikings Museum and the surface lot by Twin Cities Orthopedics Eagan Clinic.
Food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase.
