Mill Valley Art Walk—Exhibition and Reception, MV City Hall, Tuesday, Feb 6, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Journey through Marin and California via the landscapes, waterscapes and botanicals of Mill Valley fine artist Mary Anne McKernie. The artwork features iconic elements like Mt. Tamalpais and Ring Mountain interwoven with local flora. The result is a harmonious symphony of colors and forms that transport the viewer to captivating locales near and far.
Mary Anne’s paintings highlight her desire for tranquility, from the inclusion or omission of elements to the composition and choice of palette. Her paintings have been acquired by Netflix, exhibited at numerous galleries and shows, and are held in private collections.
