In this 2-day class, participants will learn the system of MikroFraming, a new framing technique developed & patented by the instructor, Mike Stapleton. The system uses specific hardware designed for strength and structural integrity while allowing for easy assembly and disassembly. MikroFraming combines design, dimensions, and templates so any woodworker, even in a small shop, can build Post & Rail projects including farmhouse dining table bases; workbenches; heirloom-quality beds; lofts; sheds, etc., that are easily moved and reassembled.
To learn the technique, this class will build a 4x4 raised garden bed that you can take home in the back seat of your compact car.
That's the beauty of the MikroFraming method. Don't like where your garden bed is located? Take it apart and move it. Want to easily transport that custom farmhouse table to a customer? Done.
If you're a gardener wanting to get a jump on spring, a furniture craftsperson looking for a new joinery technique, or someone who wants an outdoor retreat that can be taken down for the winter, this class will fit your needs.
