Midsummer Reverb-A Retro Futurist Surf Spectacle ft. Czarna Wolgastar and the Electric Heaters
Meet THE ELECTRIC HEATERS, a Boston-based instrumental trio. The genre is Retro-Sonic Surf Noir; incorporating sounds of surf, spy, soul and spaghetti western, shaken well and served over ice. Their cinematic originals sit nicely next to well-curated covers. Led by guitarist Matt Heaton and his reverb drenched guitar twang, the Heaters blend familiar classic sounds with modern ingredients—like a perfect cocktail, their musical mixology goes down just right, moody,groovy instrumental music for the 21st Century.

CZARNA WOLGASTAR is an intergalactic balkan surf jazz trio. Three non-corporeal Wolgastarian entities embody three members of Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica's Tev Stevig (gtr), Michael Harrist (bs), and Brian O'Neill (dr). Together, the trio – or sextet, depending on how you think of it – release a strange, other-worldly cocktail of Balkan beats and Milky-Way mischief crossed with the American songbook, Hollywood film soundtracks, and more.
