It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edy Fielder Burton, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and trailblazing real estate mogul in Oak Park, IL. Edy passed away peacefully at the age of 90, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and accomplishment that will forever inspire those who knew her.
As the proud and devoted mother of four children, Edy dedicated her life to her family while building an extraordinary career in real estate. A true visionary, she transformed the Oak Park skyline and touched countless lives, helping families find not just houses but homes. Her kindness, drive, and generosity were hallmarks of her remarkable life, and she will always be remembered for the impact she made on her community.
A memorial service to celebrate Edy's life will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ 400 W. 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60628 on January 3, 2025, from 2:00pm- 3:30pm.
Edy will be deeply missed but will remain forever in our hearts as a beacon of love and perseverance.
