Memorial Concert Band of Colonie presents American Patchwork
As a prelude to the upcoming November elections, the Memorial Concert Band of Colonie presents a program of American favorites by American composers, including Morton Gould and Jerry Bilik. Some of the compositions are based on melodies from our shared history, such as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home." The Memorial Concert Band of Colonie was founded in 1999 to provide a performance outlet for accomplished musicians living in the region. The Band was greatly honored to salute our nation's veterans by performing at Carnegie Hall on November 11, 2019.
