Join us in welcoming local children's author, Christine McQuillan! Christine will be here to sign copies of the first book in her new series, Princess Avalon Dreams Big.
About the Book
In the first book of the Princess Avalon series, Princess Avalon wants to build a giant castle. Swan suggests starting small by gathering stones by the pond. Momentum builds as Pony and Dragon join them until, at last, their beautiful play castle is complete! Kids learn important skills like breaking down tasks, and using our unique talents as a team to complete a task.
About the Author
After teaching special education, she followed her own dream and worked in the skies as a flight attendant for almost ten years. During these years, she also mentored and trained new flight attendants, both in the classroom and the air.
After her daughter was born, Christine noticed she received many books with inspiring messages for girls, but the text felt too advanced and abstract for little ones. Drawing on her background in learning and development, and her experience as a mom of three, Christine designed the Princess Avalon series to inspire children, while making important life skills memorable to even the littlest of princesses.
