Meet and Greet with Sheetal Bhagat
Sheetal will share her career journey, including her time on MasterChef season 1, what inspired her to create the first line of all-natural spiced-infused tequila, and the state of women in the industry today.
This event will also feature expert insights in women’s health from representatives with the Karmanos Cancer Institute: Dr. Hadeel Assad, a hematologist/oncologist and assistant professor in the oncology department at Wayne State University and the Karmanos Cancer Institute, with an expertise in the oncologic management of breast cancer; and Linda Filipczak, RN, BSN, MBA, philanthropy officer for Karmanos Cancer Institute.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Daxton Hotel’s flagship restaurant Madam and Geode Bar & Lounge are serving The Charlotte cocktail, crafted specially by an in-house bartender to honor a family member lost to cancer. The Charlotte features Spice Note Tequila Cinnamon, which has subtle notes of sweet cinnamon and rich agave. All month long, $1 from each sale of The Charlotte and other specialty cocktails will be donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
