Meditation Stitching - An Embroidery Class with Kristen Rask
Want to try a new craft that still allows you to play and incorporate your own personality? We will have a lot of different materials to play with from beads, felt, embroidery floss and many different kinds of threads to make your own meditation stitched piece. We will discuss different stitching and ways to incorporate different materials to make a piece you'll be proud of and want to hang on your walls!
You'll be given everything to complete a 2x2" piece but everyone goes at their own pace so if some students want to go bigger, they can. The idea is to play and create a piece in the moment without thinking too hard. It's very fun and satisfying, you'll be addicted in no time. It is really fun to see what you are drawn to each day as a way to process what's going on in our busy lives. My hope is you leave with new skills and a fun way to unleash your creativity in a new way.
