Beautiful by Design: The Revival of Medina Square
The Medina County Historical Society will offer a screening at 1:00pm Saturday February 10th, 2024, in the Medina Library, 210 S. Broadway, Medina, Community Room A & B, of Miles Reed’s new documentary titled "Beautiful by Design: The Revival of Medina Square."
This documentary tells the story of how the Medina Community Design Committee was started over 50 years ago by a small group of residents concerned about the condition of Medina’s Town Square. Together, the CDC was able to restore and save Medina’s Square resulting in the beautiful, authentic buildings and features that remain today.
The film also describes the research and construction of the Medina Gazebo which has become the signature feature of the square. The film concludes with a description of CDC’s future plans to assist in the revitalization our historical neighborhoods.
