Meat Raffle Benefiting Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service
Anyone who loves meat, Halloween and quirky fun should attend this huge meat raffle benefiting Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service, a volunteer-driven nonprofit radio station broadcasting local and national newspapers, magazines and books for people who cannot see, hold or comprehend the printed word due to a disability or health condition. Friday, November 1 at the Knights Events Center, 2735 Union Road (at William Street), Cheektowaga, NY 14227. The venue is accessible. Doors open 6pm, first spin 7pm. Presale admission is $10/person, $15 at the door, $100 for table of 12, and includes refillable soda pop and 2 beers. Beer and pizza will be sold. BYOB snacks, noisemakers and anything else to heighten the wheel-spinning action. The meat selection will be huge! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume to win another prize. Door prize is a 10' x 10' Buffalo Bills pop-up tent. We'll also have basket and 50/50 raffles. You can even purchase a copy of the newly published Broadcasters Eat Their Words Cookbook at a discounted meat raffle price, just in time for holiday giving.
