MAY THE 4TH DICE & DINE FUNDRAISING VOYAGE FOR EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP SCHOOLS ANNOUNCED 45 years have passed since the expression “May The 4th Be With You” was coined -- a play on words for the iconic phrase “May The Force Be With You” after the release of Star Wars: A New Hope the previous year. The internationally-recognized Star Wars Day will be celebrated locally when the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools hosts the May The 4th Be With You Dice & Dine Fundraiser Voyage For Egg Harbor Township Schools, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm, Thursday, May 4th, at Linwood Country Club. Attire for the event is business-casual but event organizers are hoping guests will awaken their inner Jedi and wear their best Star Wars attire. Now in the 13th year, the Star Wars-themed Dice & Dine fundraiser will feature live casino games provided by Full House Casino Entertainment, food stations, a 50-50 raffle, and auction. The open-to-the-public, indoor/outdoor event promises a fun evening from start to finish by providing each attendee with $50 in casino chips and two drink tickets when they arrive. Guests will have the opportunity to test their luck at eight Blackjack tables, two Craps tables, two Roulette Wheels, and a Big 6 Money Wheel. Additional chips are available for purchase throughout the night. At the end of the evening, ‘gamblers’ can exchange their chips for auction tickets and the chance to win exciting prizes donated by generous area businesses.
