Max Tucci at Thali by Chef Prasad Tuesday
Chef Prasad Chirnomula welcomes Max Tucci to his New Canaan restaurant, Thali by Chef Prasad, for one night only, in honor of the Tucci family's hundredth year of hospitality.
Hailed as "Restaurant Royalty" on Good Morning America, Max is a third-generation partner of Delmonico's and author of the Rizzoli bestseller The Delmonico Way.
He joins Chef Prasad to share the story of Delmonico's, the restaurant that taught America fine-dining — from the Delmonico brothers in 1827, to his grandfather Oscar's arrival at 56 Beaver Street in 1926, to the table in front of you.
Chef Prasad cooks a five-course tasting menu created with Max, each course carrying a Delmonico's thread through his own Indian craft.
The evening opens with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres at the blue bar, then a communal seated dinner with Max hosting the room.
Seating is limited and this room fills quickly.
VIP seats will include a copy of The Delmonico Way, signed by Max. Very limited
