Longtime scene aficionados 'The Max Riley Group' return after a yearlong hiatus for a special night of psychedelic guitar funk wizardry at the one and only Melon Ball in Davis CA! Fronted by the immensely talented Max Riley Carpenter, Owlfest family band 'The Max Riley Group' offers sweet soul, tight blues, and the pure intention of keeping rock music alive and healthy.
Joining them on their POWERLINES TOUR performing their debut full length album, from Arcata CA are indie rock troubadours, 'Pennies For Pluto' ! Originally based in Grass Valley the NorCalOG band writes lyric driven ballads, thoughtfully arranged to maintain earnestness right in the face of today's political climate, screen epidemic, and emotional distraction.
