Maryville College Choir Concert
On February 25 at 4:00 p.m., a concert will be presented by the Maryville College (MC) Concert Choirs under the direction of Stacey Wilner as a part of their Spring tour entitled, “Songs of Hope.” The theme was taken from Moses Hogan’s song I’ll Make the Difference. With the violence and chaos going on the world—from Ukraine and Russia to Israel and Palestine—Wilner thought this to be an appropriate theme. FUMC Organist & Choirmaster, Josh Sumter, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Maryville College and sang in the MC choirs.
