Marx Cassity Album Release Party + Performance
Acclaimed Tulsa-based LGBTQ+ Native American singer-songwriter and electronic rock artist Marx Cassity will celebrate the release of their groundbreaking full-length album, 2Sacred, this Sunday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Park Grove Creative Community, 4241 South 37th West Avenue, Tulsa 74107
Funded in part by an NDN Collective Radical Imagination grant and an Osage Nation Foundation artist grant, the electronic rock album explores themes of what it means to be Two-Spirit – an LGBTQ+ person with Native American heritage – and one who has learned to love and accept themselves and pursue art as an act of devotion.
The event is free and open to the public with a $10-15 suggested donation.
